Our history

Synergy Pharm USA is the North American subsidiary of Synergy Pharm – Santé Active Edition, a group specializing in medical and scientific writing that has been serving the pharmaceutical industry, and more generally the scientific research community, for more than 30 years.

The group has been managed since 2003 by Marielle ROMET, PhD, a former researcher in endocrinology and member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). Originally, the group focused on writing scientific documents for medical or marketing purposes, aimed at scientists, doctors, veterinarians, or pharmacists (manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, symposium or congress minutes, monographs, medical education documents, etc.), as well as at the general public (website content, brochures and health guides for patients).

With the acquisition in 2009 of Synergy Pharm, created more than 30 years ago by Jean DELAHAYES, PhD, former Professor at the Ohio State University (College of Medicine) and at the Medical College of Georgia (USA), the group acquired recognized know-how in the writing of clinical and regulatory documentation for health authorities, covering all stages of the drug development process (Common Technical Documents, Clinical Study Reports, Investigator’s Brochures, etc.).
